Edgerton Elementary is home to PreK - grade 5.
We have two sections throughout elementary to provide the best student to teacher ratio for optimal learning. Small classes allow us to provide small group and one-on-one time for our students.
We are very excited to let families know that we have a voluntary preschool program that will allow us to have free preschool for all children who turn 4 by September 1. We have two sections that will allow our teacher and paraprofessional more one-on-one time with students.
Elementary Resources
Elementary students are currently participating in the Accelerated Reading (AR) program. This program has students reading at their independent reading level then taking quizzes on the books to check how well they understood what they read. Students earn points as they pass each comprehension quiz. Meeting their monthly AR point goal earns them a chip. Chips can be redeemed at the AR store for a variety of prizes.
We hope you have noticed your child reading more books than usual and growing in his/her enthusiasm for reading.
