The Sebia Gunnink Scholarship has been awarded for many years at Edgerton High School.  The requirements for the scholarship have changed as the Iowa United Methodist Foundation now administers the scholarship fund.

The student must meet the following criteria:

a) the student MUST have either a Leota or Edgerton address

b) the student MUST be in the 10% of the class

c) the student MUST plan to attend a four year college/university

The recepient will be selected by the Edgerton Public School District Board and Foundation.

Eligible students should complete an essay about what activities they are involved in, their current GPA and class rank, what college/university they are planning to attend and how the scholarship would benefit their future.

Essays should be turned in to the Principal by April 15th
