Boys Basketball

The 2011-12 Boys basketball season is underway.  The Dutchmen return one starter from last year's team.  Johnny Menning is a three year starter and will be the team leader and catalyst for the Flying Dutchmen.  Wade Gunnink is the other senior who will be a key contributor for the Dutchmen.  Juniors Derek Voge, Isaac Heard, and Blake Jouwstra will also start for the Dutchmen.  The 9-Man State Football Championship forced the Dutchmen to delay their season and will require some time to make necessary adjustments.  Juniors Brett Ford, Derek Claar, Travis Pierson and Austin LaFollette will provide necessary bench play for the Dutchmen. 6'4" Sophomore Austin Mertens will see considerable court time for the Dutchmen as well.  Sophomores Jesse Berning and Nathan Paulsen will add guard depth for the Dutchmen.
